Online Bach Lecture #2

 8,50

Description

An inspiring theater lecture that you can watch and listen to at home, anytime; never before has Bach’s music been so easily accessible in your own living room. The lecture can be viewed at any time via a link.

Jan-Willem Rozenboom, Bach enthusiast and expert, takes you into the world of Bach in this theater lecture. How did he compose his work? How is his music structured? Not only does he play the most beautiful Bach pieces during the lecture, he also explains why they are so special. For example, Bach was writing 12-tone music 200 years before other composers started doing so. And although the aria from the St. Matthew Passion was written for flute and two oboes, it sounds surprisingly beautiful on the piano.
